Week Three: Dead ends and turnarounds

The key to life is accepting challenges. Once someone stops doing this, he's dead.> ~~Bette Davis

This week the tasks were tasking! Sounds monotonous right? Please bear the repetition because it literally describes what happened this week. It was business as usual as we received the weekly assignment, but it was tougher to accomplish this time. We resolved though, that we would cross this hurdle.

Check out what our rock star teams were able to accomplish in Week 3 of the #sidehustle boot camp

The Digital marketing and content creation maintained the posting schedule on all the platforms according to the content calendar and strategy. The Graphics team contributed to that success with their consistent production of graphics and videos.

img-20220622-wa0000[1].jpg They were also able to create an end-to-end marketing plan which is a complete action plan on how to reach the potential 12EX customer. Although the user sign-ups have increased, the target hasn’t been achieved, and giving up isn't an option for us.

The product design team finally completed the high-fidelity wireframe using the Figma software. They made changes on the color and the brand Logos provided by the graphics team. There was also the Creation of more Pages in the Hi_fi wireframe. They include; Categories My account Orders Saved items Shipping details Select payment options Payment Cart page (where the buyer checkouts) Payment confirmed page Payment declined page Create seller’s account- Owners' information Create seller’s account- Business information Create seller’s account- Bank account details Welcome to sell

The CRM team that was tasked with completing the chatbot 100% couldn't make headway with it but like I said earlier, challenges are part of everyday life, so they are facing it squarely as work is still ongoing. and they were also able to create a Hubspot account to set up an email marketing system.

The WordPress team was to commence implementation of the UI design and ensure compliance to the design.

QA teams' task for the week was to carry out test cases according to the flow and test prototype when ready.

The PMs{ Product Managers} received reports from each team on task progress, were monitoring the task management dashboard, and updated tasks across all sub-teams. This was simplified using Trello as their PM tool.

Challenges will only make you stronger and though this week proved somewhat tough, we are coming back stronger with solutions. Mark my words!
